Network Weaving
Building connections. Challenging assumptions.
PSFG staff are experts in peace and security philanthropy. We leverage our connections in the field to deliver unmatched resources, networks, and peer learning to our members. We engage in dialogue with stakeholders outside of peace and security to help make the impact and work of our members more visible and more connected to other sectors.
Member Listserv and Member Directory
These tools allow PSFG members to engage directly with one another, across issue areas, strategies, and expertise.
Staff Expertise
PSFG staff are recognized as thought leaders in the sector, both because of our issue expertise in topics ranging from nuclear security to DEI, and because we have a bird’s eye view of the peace and security philanthropic sector. We serve our members by speaking in large forums (e.g., conference panels) and small forums (e.g., members’ board meetings) about best practices and ways to advance our sector.
Crisis Response Coordination
PSFG acts as a coordinating hub for our members and other funders on global crises (e.g., Afghanistan, Ukraine, Syria, Myanmar).
