Rachel LaForgia

Senior Program Director

Rachel LaForgia (she/her/hers) has nearly two decades of experience designing and facilitating meetings, programs, conferences, and events in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining PSFG, Rachel was a Program Assistant for the Peacebuilding and Western Balkans programs at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. She came to philanthropy after five years in the education sector, where she facilitated learning for students at all levels–from pre-K to university–in her roles as a teacher, college administrator, adjunct professor, and Zumba instructor.

Rachel has had the privilege to learn with and from leading experts in the fields of facilitation, meeting design, and experiential learning. She has undertaken training in experiential learning, Art of Hosting, Liberating Structures, the Xchange Approach, and the Circle Way. Rachel holds an M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University, a B.A. in History and Spanish from Franklin and Marshall College, and was a Fulbright scholar in Spain.

Rachel lives in Jersey City, NJ with her husband and three kids. She is a member of Cantigas choir and a Girl Scout troop leader.
